There has been a lot of talk in the blogs and in local and national news about the heckling and boos that Eric Cantor received when he gave his speech at the 7th District GOP convention this past Saturday. Many felt it was unseemly and disrespectful. I personally don’t like booing even when a referee makes a bad call, but I think you can better understand the response from this past Saturday if you have context:
Eric Cantor has made it abundantly clear to all his constituents that town hall meetings are beneath him. His consultant, Ray Allen, once told me years ago that Eric Cantor would ‘NEVER’ do a town hall meeting.

Say what you want. I like the booing of politicians. I like it very much, especially when it is well deserved. Of all the places to express dissatisfaction and grievance, in a room with a politician seems the most appropriate.
I am against booing. It’s uncivil, and not worthy of the oldest democratic republic on earth.
Except when a sleazy, lying RINO weasel is being booed.
Eric Cantor is a liar. Steve King and some others were the first to come out for a full repeal. Cantor was led by King on the issue.
Eric Cantor tried to tell the crowd it was his idea to repeal Obamacare.
I don’t trust Cantor or Boehner. Cantor said he led the fight to fully repeal Obamacare. If so, he lost. And I don’t recall Cantor standing with Ted Cruz during his filibuster to defund and repeal it.
I understand that he wanted to speak at a used car sale men convention but they would not invite him because they thought he would ruin their image.
Im talking about in 2010, leadership didn’t want a full repeal.
Cantor, Boehner, McConnell and the rest of the establishment, RINO *Leaders* have no shame.
They selfishly put the demands of their lobbyists/$$ over what’s best for their country and the wishes of their constituents/We the People.

I’m not convince GOP leadership at any time from 2010-2014 wanted this turd fully repealed. The house funds 100% of the federal government and has rules that strongly favor the majority. If Boehner/Cantor wanted this thing gone, they could have made a principled stand. But they did nothing but talk the talk.

And why did Boehner and Cantor block a select committee on Benghazi for so long? Frank Wolf had 184 Rep sponsors for a select committee over a year ago. And now Cantor is trying to claim credit for it. Cantor must be defeated.
