If I’m wrong, I apologize, but I’m going by what a man of the cloth wrote:

I am afraid that account is terribly wrong. He wasn't found in a ditch he was found in the consulate and there is video of it. He was taken to a hospital and a doctor examined him and found he had died of smoke inhalation. Which isn't surprising since he was in the safe room for three to four hours while the building burned. The surprising part is that he lived that long and was alive when found. But only for a few minutes.

It only took about thirty minutes for Sean Smith to die of smoke inhalation in the same room. He was found by the rescue team from the CIA annex. They looked but couldn't find Amb. Stevens as the building was still burning, full of smoke and there was still an assault ongoing at that time.

Here is a real account given by Dr. Charles R. Roots. In it he makes no mention of being Amb. Stevens cousin which is odd if he really is.

About the two Navy SEAL’s killed in Libya: Earn your Trident every day…

That e-mail story smells like ... an e-mail story.
