I have said for at least a year that Stevens’ death was an accident, the result of a distraction or feint that turned into a firefight unexpectedly.
There are claims that Stevens was supposed to have been kidnapped with the intention of a trade for Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman (the “Blind Sheikh”).
Apparently, they didn’t expect very much resistance.
The blind sheikh story is OK (Obama would clearly have done it) except it doesn’t explain the company-sized assault on, and stripping of, the “warehouse”.
