Franco Corelli, the world renowned and self taught Bel Canto tenor, with his ringing high Cs, is a singer whom I stumbled across only recently. Now after listening to Franco Corelli sing just about everything except the New York Times Telephone Directory, I think I might have become at least his one-hundred millionth fan. Included in Corelli’s group of fans is one Corelli fan who also sang a little bit here and there, Luciano Pavarotti.
