How is it working out for you Pelham now that you’re finding out that FR is changing. Some of us on here are Conservative AND savvy enough to realize that NO ONE IS PERFECT. And, all you “purists” who have your agenda could not win an election for Meter Reader? Guess into what column that leaves all your candidates? In the “Lost” column. But then, where else would you expect to find a “loser”.

The "savvy" ones would be you, and the really really stupid ones would be me and Pelham and the balance of millions of righteous God-fearing, God-loving Americans who REFUSED TO VOTE FOR LEFTISM and hence caused Romney to LOSE, thank God. Your candidate LOST because he stunk. Be accountable, for crying out loud, and stop blaming other people for the consequences of your OWN bad judgment.

Had the bastard won, Din Maker and Hildy, leftism would have GAINED STRENGTH on both sides of the aisle. Had the bastard won, he would RIGHT NOW be using the Republican administration to advance EVERY leftist cause, from government-mandated global warming greeniness to RomneyCare to forcing the acceptance of pretend homosexual "marriage" among adoption agencies and churches and employers or else -- not to mention appointing liberal activist judges and enabling abortion --

-- if that bastard had won, THAT is what he would be doing RIGHT NOW. You would be here wailing and crying and screaming, saying "I didn't vote for that, I voted against Obama!" You would FAIL to be accountable for what you voted FOR.

That's the key difference between you and me, and Pelham and Hildy. Pelham and I COMPREHEND that we are accountable for what we vote for. You and Hildy believe the unicorn fantasy that you can vote "against" and not have it backfire with a vengeance.

EVERYBODY ON FREE REPUBLIC, every single one, realizes that NO POLITICIAN is perfect. "Purists" are purely fictional; in my 12 years on FR, I have never seen a purist, not once. I have, however, seen MANY people who call those who reject their candidates, "purists." To level the accusation of "purist" at ANYONE in a political discussion, is purely, solely an intentional insult, nothing less, nothing more.
