7th round picks don’t get much money and if he makes the team, it will likely be on the Practice Squad.

The NFL has no say in cuts or who starts and who doesn’t, and the Rams have arguably the best and deepest Defensive Line in the NFL. Sam’s chances of making the team are slim, like most 7th round picks and there is no way he will make the team as a starter.

I can see him playing a few snaps on Special Teams and perhaps a situational pass rusher on a few plays if he makes the team and that’s a big if, especially with the talent the Rams have at Defensive End.

Some people actually think the Rams are going to be forced to start him over Robert Quinn, the Pro Football Writer’s Defensive Player of the year who had 19 Sacks last season and 15 the season before.

That’s just delusional. The Rams aren’t going to bench their best Defensive player under any circumstances.

The fans would riot and sue the league and the team.

People making such statements are either delusional or don’t know a thing about pro sports, or both.

How is that openly homo NBA player doing?
He’s sitting on the bench and not getting any playing minutes.
