Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh slammed the Twitter hashtag campaign, #BringBackOurGirls, which is drawing attention to the kidnappings of schoolgirls in Nigeria, calling it pathetic.
I just think this is pathetic. Im just stunned. We got 300 Nigerian girls kidnapped by an Al Qaeda group, and nobody cared or talked about it for a while, Hillary [Clinton] wouldnt call em a terror group. Now all of a sudden, for some reason, were on a big push to get em back and this is how
? Limbaugh said Thursday on his radio program, according to a transcript.

and nobody talks about the boys they just murdered and burned up.
If I went to Politico I would read the comments and then my blood pressure would spike, so no.
Or the fact that they are “#Christians”.
I bet Hitler is glad he didn’t have to deal with Obama and Twitter. He would have felt the sting of #FreePoland, and retreated back to the fuhrerbunker, defeated.
Well they are talking about it now. That Twitter hash tag has TOTALLY changed the conversation and now maybe the girls will be found. I don’t understand his problem with this. Exposure is good in this case. I just don’t think we need to complain about every damn thing. Some things are ok in life.
Sometimes the Politico comments will surprise you .though I haven’t checked these out yet...
Heard ABC radio and they speak of the Regime contacting Nigeria before the kidknappings and all the help they are willing to provide. Made me think of Benghazi and how the Regime failed to offer help when it was requested.
Zeros’ administration, getting things done
(They should probably say pretty please)
To paraphrase Tommy Vietor: Dude, it’s been like three weeks ago.
To paraphrase Hillary: At this point, what difference does it make?
The Democrat Flying Monkeys are all too busy whining about Benghazi on all comment boards
I don’t think he is complaining about this. I think he is complaining about how ridiculous this world has become that it takes a twitter campaign to get our elites to pay attention to something important.
Remember when we used to make fun of Clinton - he licked his finger and stuck it in the air to see what the political will was.
now we use twitter.
it is stupid.
this should have been addressed the moment it happend.
yes.
I just think it is the way to communicate today. I know that upsets the old fogies but that is just the way it is. I see it as a good that things are getting done.
I would certainly hope that more substantive steps are being taken but I don't see the harm in this effort. At a minimum, it draws attention to the reality of Islam which is rare in today's society.
What happened to those girls is breathtakingly disgusting...but not unexpected from the Religion of Pieces. My gut tells me that the lucky ones will either escape early or die early.
Participation by an ordinary person probably isn't harmful...but just as probably doesn't do any good. But participation by Osama Obama or his wide bodied bride communicates weakness from the United States which is undeniably harmful.
We all know that Presidents Reagan,Bush and Bush...along with "Presidents" Palin and Romney...would have had a *much* more credible...and effective...response.
That is very true. I really like the fact that they are boycotting that Hotel in California. Things are getting better. If only it sticks.
The question to ask is why the press waited nearly four weeks to publish the story. The girls were kidnapped on April 17th.
you are missing the point. the complaint had nothing to do with the way people communicate; the complaint is about those in power being to stupid to know when something is important and they should address it.
