Glad we dodged the bullet. We could have been stuck with a President Romney. Obama at least makes no bones about being liberal. With Romney, the shiftiness makes one queasy.

Still trying to play nice with a lake full of alligators. Pitiful.

If you think the clusterf—k by Obama is better than a mild rebuke from Romney, you may have masochistic tendencies.

(I am sick of people who think Obama is no worse than Romney, as bad as Mitt was.)
To: bestintxas
He’s still trying to out liberal the liberals while at the same time trying to claim to be a conservative.

He doesn’t appear to have said anything like that spin, though.
Why do people appear on media shows when they know they are just going to be used to support an agenda? It appears Repubs and RINOs are particularly stupid in this area.

That's the problem with democracy how it is implemented. The best liar wins, while nice guys finish last. Are democracies doomed to be governed by patently unfit people?

Romney knows better than this. He knows full-well that wage levels in cities are completely different than those in small towns.
One size doesn't fit all and he knows it.
Something here doesn't pass the smell test.

He is also more diligent and less drug addled in fomenting his perverse agendas.

Like Obama, Romney is living proof that Neanderthals did the wild thing with human beings.

Sad, so many incompetents in the political arena. Guess that is what one has to be to be in politics.

On the minimum wage, Romney said, unlike other members of his party [WTH?!]
, he felt "we ought to raise it." He said it was important for the GOP to communicate to workers, and, in particular, to Hispanics [good grief, here we go again, following the liberals in dividing the country by race and class pandering instead of boldly defending freedom, free markets and the dignity of the individual],
their commitment to job growth. [Job GROWTH?! Horse hockey. Raising the minimum wage will lead to job destruction, hurting the most economically vulnerable the most. And even Romney knows this but still panders anyway?!
It would appear that Mitty is attempting to OUT-Santuckabee on pandering to liberals. A pox on all their houses.

And this is the choice we had in 2012, no better than the one in 2008.
It exposes just how screwed we really are.
To: bestintxas
Romney ran and lost. His time is over. He should gracefully recede into the background and let others lead the way.

What we got in 2012, was the guy we rejected in 2008, even though he broke records in spending, and spent 50 million dollars of his own money.

Perfect example of why we are doomed - when folks keep claiming that we "dodged a bullet" by kicking Romney to the curb and giving Obama another 4 years. Don't want to call you names but my head about explodes when folks make statements like yours - there's only about 15,000 reasons why you haven't a clue.

Well, I didn’t want him. But, sadly, I’m not in the majority, even of the R’s. This is why I have not been an R for going on a decade now.
To: bestintxas
This from a supposed “businessman”! Yes, we should be glad he lost.
GO AWAY MITT!
