If it’s a “federal” report, it must be true! LOL! Hey Barry! If you like your climate report, you can keep your climate report.

Anytime I get into a debate with one of these climate crackpots who espouse the notion it is settled science I retort, the fact the world was flat was settled science one time too.

I love to listen to Joe Bastardi’s rants about the climate change crowd every sat morning when he posts his weekly update.

There are literally thousands of variables that effect weather and hence climate, ie "the butterfly effect' which is shorthand for chaos theory.

But, there's a reason carbon dioxide is the major boogeyman...

Because all life forms on planet earth are carbon based, there is nothing you nor any other being on this planet can do with out intaking and evacuating carbon.

Now you know why this moronic theory is so important to the libs.

I counter with “absorption spectra for dummies”:

(1) Heat coming off the ground is just like light you can’t see (in science speak, it is called infrared light).

(2) Only some “colors” (science: frequencies) of heat is absorbed by CO2.

(3) If the heat is not absorbed, the CO2 level does not matter.

(4) If the heat is absorbed, ALL of it is absorbed within about 100 yards. Think like light going through fog.

(5) If you increase the CO2 level, that just change how close to the ground ALL of the heat is absorbed.

(6) Air is THOUSANDS of yards thick, so changing what happens on the ground CANNOT affect overall climate.

THAT is PROVEN SCIENCE.

Now, does this argument work? Actually, on several occasions it has...
