This article seems almost like satire.

I drove past this plant just yesterday. Photo attached.

1) I would love to know how they estimated the number of birds killed by "green" energy plants.

2) Eagles do not prey on birds. Falcons do.

Impressive technology, I am not sure why the white glow near the tower that goes away near the tower. I guess it is reflection of dust in the air.  photo DSC05743_zps5e8d93aa.jpg

Is that out in the Antelope Valley? I saw one similar to that off the CA138 under construction some time back on my way out to the I5...

The wind turbines do a pretty good job of whacking birds...the speeds at the tips of the blades can get quite fast and the birds stand little chance if they “misjudge”.
