I think you're a bit behind the times. You seem not to have noticed that the Cathedral of Christ the Savior once again stands in Moscow, Russian monasteries are full, the churches no longer the province of old baboushkas but well-attended by young and old, peasant and oligarch alike, Russian schools include religious education, the Russian army has Christian chaplains once again, and for the past two years, the Orthodox Church has influenced legislation in the Duma one matters of morality, and the demographic decline has reversed.

That may be so, but that doesn’t mean their hearts are yet won.
A one or two year reversal does not mean that it is permanent. I’d like it to be, however.
