Very few people who work would be paying them. These very wealthy billionaires want socialism than they should pay the socialist taxes that they are causing either by design, stupidity or greed.

I agree that they ought to but the federal government has no power to tax wealth. They instead have the power the tax income.

Rich Democrats count on the public not knowing the difference. It allows them to call for increased taxes on the rich while avoiding real tax increases on themselves.

Kerry and Buffet are good examples. How much would an increase in income taxes really hurt them? Not much.
