On the heels of Brandeis Universitys controversial decision to rescind an honorary degree to womens rights activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali, organizers of a week-long pro-Israel event called iFest, which is currently underway at the University of California, Irvine, say they have been forced to cancel a scheduled speech by Nonie Darwish, a prominent pro-Israel speaker. Lead iFest organizer Daniel Narvy, president of the campus group Anteaters for Israel (AFI), who will be joining the Israeli Defense Forces this summer, says Orange County Hillel was primarily responsible for the cancellation and that the incident is another example of Hillels marginalization of Narvy due to his conservative and traditional views.
Nonie Darwish is the founder and president of FormerMuslimsUnited, an advocacy group for Islamic apostates, and Arabs for Israel, an organization that promotes a positive outlook among Arabs toward the Jewish State and advocates for peace in the region. Darwish was born and raised in Egypt during the most tumultuous period of the Arab-Israeli conflict and is the daughter of Col. Mustafa Hafez, former head of Egyptian intelligence in the Sinai and Gaza, who led multiple operations against Israel during the 1950s. Due to his activities, Darwishs father was killed by the Israeli military in 1956 by a mail bomb when she was 8 years old, which greatly impacted her negative views toward the Jewish State.

College campuses are not only hostile, but possibly dangerous to pro-Israeli speakers.
So I figure the best way around this is to host the speakers off-campus, in private venues needing tickets and a form of personal ID for access, with small print that if a ticket holder is identified as a “public agitator”, their ticket can be invalidated without a refund. Likewise, any disruption during the event will result in their ejection without refund.
Maybe even two levels of ticket prices. If someone is pre-certified, the admission is say $10. But if they are not, it is $100.
If the pests clamor enough, tell that there is a general admission of $1000 on a different day (just for agitators), without telling them that the speaker will not be there in person, but speaking only by television. The end result might be a room full of agitators, at a grand a pop, screaming at a television. And no refunds.
Islam is winning its war against civilization. With help from the strangest quarters.
What went on here was despicable... organized heckling, where a bunch of schmucks arrange to heckle serially rather than all at once...
Israeli ambassador Michael Oren heckled at University of California
This was also at UC Irvine.
