I understand what you're saying, but it's nowhere near winter at Valley Forge yet. We may literally have another of those in the days/weeks/years to come. Things may be bad metaphorically now, but the real suffering has yet to begin.

Still, it's our duty to endure it if need be. Why are we any better than those guys who mustered on Lexington Green and counterattacked at the North Bridge back in 1775?

Scouts Out! cavalry Ho!

It’s more like 1773 and we’re chafing under British oppression and taxes.

The next step is the Boston Tea Party and the furious British response that closed and occupied Boston. That will get the “rebels” into serious training and serious preparations for the serious business ahead. There were smaller protests and rumblings before the game began in earnest, and the Bundy matter could be just a hint of what lies ahead.

But we don’t have 2 years until Lexington. The clock is spinning much faster today than it did back then. In fact, the lanterns may appear in the Old North Church any day now. Tomorrow could be April 19, 1775.

Form teams. Set up communications. Brace yourselves. Stockpile.

We are rising up now—with Article V. The framers knew what they were doing when they included a provision for the states to rebalance the power of the federal government.

This is the battle we need to win now. The boats are loading for the trip across the Delaware.
