It’s more like 1773 and we’re chafing under British oppression and taxes.
The next step is the Boston Tea Party and the furious British response that closed and occupied Boston. That will get the “rebels” into serious training and serious preparations for the serious business ahead. There were smaller protests and rumblings before the game began in earnest, and the Bundy matter could be just a hint of what lies ahead.
But we don’t have 2 years until Lexington. The clock is spinning much faster today than it did back then. In fact, the lanterns may appear in the Old North Church any day now. Tomorrow could be April 19, 1775.
