A better tactic is to go from the bottom up first. Can start with the 'Dude' guy. Bret got more info out of him in 20 minutes then all the previous hearings combined.
Minions are not as good at lying as the A Team is. Build up the evidence then bring in the top guns and hammer them with the testimony.

The benefit of having an ex-prosecutor as Chair is that he knows how to roll witnesses. A whiff of jail time will get the attention of each “Dude”.
