I was wondering when CBS would get around to the forged/falsified documents defense.
Considering the fact Dan Rather/CBS put out forged/falsified docs on Bush at the same time Bush was releasing the al Qaida docs. recovered in Afghanistan, the idea being get the issue of forgery front and center so if anyone raised questions about what was in those al Qaida docs. all they had to do was claim Bush had forged them.
Hay CBS, is this the al Qaida doc you want to convince everyone is a Bush forgery?

Judicial Watch came out with so many docs essentially immediately that it's unfathomable they had time even to consider making changes. Could someone there zero in on a potential smoking gun before many copies were made? Highly, highly unlikely.
If there be differing copies, the highly likely culprits are those who had unfettered custody of the docs for a long period of time.
