The guy certainly was no John Wooden, but his first two years as hc had more wins than any other two year stretch for that program since 1989.
His salary while seeming excessive to normal people like us, was 8th lowest of the 12 in the conference and essentially the same as 9, 10 and 11.
In the bizarro economics of big time collegiate athletics, I don’t see him as an outlier at all.
Do not cloud the hate session with facts!
If that is the case, he must have been a horrible recruiter. To win with someone else’s team, and lose with yours is bad.
