My wife did the census there over twenty years ago. The immigrants pave the front yard for parking and turn every room and closet into bedrooms. Finally they sleep in shifts like the old hot bunks on submarines...8 hours and you get up because someone else waiting.

The immigrants pave the front yard for parking and turn every room and closet into bedrooms. on July 1,1999, the Front Setback Paving Ordinance went into effect in San Jose, California, for that very reason...
