The Clippers are owned by the Sterling Trust, Sterling, his wife and two children. The NBA can huff and puff all they want, Magic can design new Clipper uniforms and the PC crowd can wail until they raise the ocean level by a foot, that trust was set up to protect that asset, the Clippers and pass it down to the children with minimal tax impact.
Look he is 80 and has prostrate cancer, do you think he became a multi billionaire by rolling over to the guy across the table? He and his trust will win this battle no matter how long it takes.

But regardless of your background, regardless of the history they have, if were taking something somebody said in their home and were trying to turn it into something that leads to you being forced to divest property in any way, shape or form, thats not the United States of America. I dont want to be part of that.

The Clippers are owned by the Sterling Trust, Sterling, his wife and two children. I wondered about a trust. That would protect against probate, death tax and capital gains. The wife could have the husband removed as a trustee or declared incompetent.
