Why would a Seattle newspaper use a Phoenix AP source to report on Two Chinese sailors who died and six are believed to be missing after their boat sank that were found by a Venezuelan fishing boat found 1,100 nautical miles west of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

It’s an AP story and was picked up by other outlets, but none in California I can find so far.
