Umm, excuse me? Since when don't conservatives reserve the right to doubt or question ANYthing we hear from ANY politician?

I've stated my thoughts clearly: I like Gowdy and want to beleive him, but there's a lot of mixed info out there. I will continue to follow his role in all these developments, and I appreciate other FReepers who supply information.

I'd remind you, Walrus, that many FReepers also loved and (many) wanted to crown Paul Ryan, Kelly Ayotte, and yes -- Chris Christie. Doubt isn't a bad thing, and truth will stand up to it.

Workerbee, I know politicians (men) in general can be deceitful. Again, with sincerity, I ask you: why your are leary of Trey Gowdy as you stated earlier? Why do you doubt his sincerity? What has he said or what have you heard? Please respond. Thank you.
