The ONLY scenario that makes ANY sense is that Amb. Stevens was to have been “kidnapped” and then exchanged for the Blind Sheik.

That’s why there was no defense in the first place and that is why the heros who did fight were told to stand down and not get involved.

And of course it explains why there was no rescue attempt, AND why Clinton and BO called it a night.

Please note that freeing the Blind Sheik is consistent with siding with terrorists.

Bingo! And because our heroes fought back, the jihadists got pissed and killed them and Stevens. The reason we are not pursuing the attackers is because they don't this to get out. IMHO.
