Did legalizing alcohol get rid of the organized crime created by prohibition? No, like the Federal agencies that were created to fight the now rich criminals, they moved on to other lucrative endeavors, like the new exciting field of drug prohibition.

I don't think anyone would argue that the cartels were created by prohibition, but getting rid of them will take a bit more than legalization as they will just move on to another criminal enterprise.

The dope culture is creating an unmotivated, mind numbed, population, who will NEVER achieve their true potential.

The unprovable notion that these same people would be alcoholic if they weren’t toking, is pure bull.
