Republican senate candidate Mark Callahan, an IT-consultant-turned-political-candidate called out liberal reporter Nigel Jaquiss from the Willamette Week scribbling down blah, blah, blah while fellow Republican Jo Rae Perkins was giving an answer during a candidate forum.
The reporters proceeded to kick Callahan out of the room.

Mediaite reported:
Staffers of the alt-weekly newspaper Willamette Week recently met with Oregon Republican U.S. Senate candidates seeking an endorsement and things got quite dramatic after one reporter was caught scribbling blah blah blah on his notepad while a candidate spoke.Jim Romenesko flagged down the dramatic clip, which shows candidate Mark Callahan chastising reporter Nigel Jaquiss for mocking Jo Rae Perkins rambling answer to a question (she was on the telephone and could not see the offending notepad).
I see what youre writing down there, Callahan scolded the reporter. You just wrote down blah blah blah blah for everything that Jo Rae said. Jo Rae is a respectful woman. Why are you not respecting her by writing blah blah blah blah in your notepad?
The moderator tried to calm Callahan by declaring that they will now move on, asking the candidate for his views on climate change.
Its a myth, Callahan replied.
Where are you on the Easter bunny? Jaquiss interjected.
Of course, the IT-consultant-turned-political-candidate did not find that amusing:
Are these really the questions that I was called here to answer? I called you out for putting blah blah blah on your notepad on now youre asking me questions like this? Really? Really? Are we talking about this now? How about you ask a very serious and respectful question instead of asking a little childish question?
“Free speech” — to the left — has always meant shouting down opposing viewpoints.
He handled that like a man.
The other two at the table whom didn’t stand up for Mr. Callahan should be ashamed of themselves. They should have stood up and walked out in solidarity.
Also, these “reporters” need to put down their pens and head to the nearest McDonald’s as they’re not qualified to be journalists—they need to run deep fryers and wear paper hats.
Yea, he inserted himself in defense of another candidate. He could’ve stayed quiet like the others
The part I liked is when Callahan stood up to defend another Republican who was being disrespected. Rare that among Republican politicians.
Did the other Republicans stay or did they leave when Callahan was thrown out???
Nigel Jaquiss won a Pulitzer in 2005. That apparently allows him to be a d-head to anyone he pleases for the rest of his life.
Why was a picture of the thin skinned little boys (liberal reporters) not shown on the internet? The question on the Easter Bunny was just plain insulting and we should know who the questioner is.
How could the rest of the candidates just sit there? Sure, they have a lot invested, but what does this tell you about their character?
Who the hell do these liberal J school junkies think the are to act this way with impunity and anonymously? Who are they? Who do they work for? Who sponsors their work (signs their paycheck)?
This powerful story merits further investigation!
“The other two at the table whom didnt stand up for Mr. Callahan should be ashamed of themselves. They should have stood up and walked out in solidarity.”
Agreed.
Jaquiss’ question to Mark Callahan about the Easter Bunny was basically his not-so-subtle way of telling Callahan to go f- himself if he didn’t like what he wrote.

What was this d-bag going to use as source material for his article when his notes were “blah blah blah”? ...Guess it really didn’t matter what the candidate said, this guys article was written before the meeting even happened.
I am certain the mainstream media will get right on this.
These guys are extremely proud of themselves.
Really. They think they’re heroes for showing Mark Callahan that they’re in charge. They think they’re big men.
I’m serious. See for yourself-

Gawd. Another walking stereotype metrosexual. Bet he knows the difference of particular kale varieties and their impact on the various regions of the tongue.
Well at least they know who NOT to vote for. The quislings who put up with leftist pap from the media aren't going to fight the leftist pap in the legislature if they're elected.
I bet he has a spandex suit, somewhere, for whatever sport he brags about doing. And FAILS at. But, guaranteed he brags about at his yuppie dinner parties. While his friend’s wives, with silver-laced bobs and Pashminas nod in ageement. “Oh, like, yeaaaah.”
Exactly correct. The media will never respect you if they believe that they are in charge.
Truly stunning.
This is a hell of a video.
When Mark Callahan complains about the childish Easter Bunny question he is told by someone on other side of the table that this is his ‘second strike’ and if he continues he will be asked to leave.
His reply is, “Who do you think you are?”
He is then told to get out.
What I see is an adult being insulted by little boys.
Most impressive is that Callahan had no idea that this would show up on YouTube and go viral.
He was just doing the right thing , unlike the other two squishy candidates.
Our country doen not need any more go along get along Republicans who are so afraid of the Democrats smear machine that they refuse to rock the boat when confronted by Democrat Left Wing bullies
