I love the smell of burning pine-cedar too, but I wouldn’t smoke it...
Only once! Yes, pine smoke smells good in small doses but a lungfull is killer. Potentially literally since pine smoke is toxic whereas hardwood smoke generally is not. Found that out when I grilled burgers over pine coals that weren’t sufficiently burned down.
