May 02, 2014, 02:22 pm Reid: Republicans using Benghazi to start political food fight
By Ramsey Cox
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said Republicans are using the Benghazi attack to gin up yet another political food fight ahead of the November election.
For Republicans to waste the American peoples time and money staging a partisan political circus instead of focusing on the middle class is simply a bad decision, Reid said on Friday. While Republicans try to gin up yet another political food fight, Senate Democrats will remain focused on fostering economic growth for all hard-working Americans.
Reids comments came after Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) announced he would appoint a select House committee to expand the Republican investigation into the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11, 2012.
Republicans have pounced on recently released emails from White House adviser Ben Rhodes. In those emails, sent in advance of TV appearances by then-United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice, Rhodes said officials should make it a goal to show that the protests were based on an Internet video.
Republicans have charged that the White House initially linked the attack to a protest because it wanted to play down the idea it was a terrorist attack before the presidential election. The administration eventually acknowledged the attack was an act of terrorism.
Republicans have said the new emails prove the White House attempted to mislead the public for political gains.
Reid said instead of focusing on issues the public cares about, such as raising the minimum wage, Republicans are fixated on debunked right-wing conspiracy theories.
There have already been multiple investigations into this issue and an independent Accountability Review Board is mandated under current law, Reid said. Republicans care more about defending billionaires like the Koch brothers and trying to rekindle debunked right-wing conspiracy theories than raising the minimum wage or ensuring women receive equal pay for equal work.
Senate Republicans have blocked Democrats attempts to vote on bills that would raise the minimum wage and ensure women get equal pay for equal work. Income inequality is the center of Democrats campaign efforts for the November election.
Note to the TREASONOUS BASTARD in the white hut, the 'Beast and to their whiney hatchet boy(won't call the sniveling bastard a man) Reid:
When four good men are abandoned to be slaughtered by a raghead mob, and absolutely no aid was attempted, or even allowed to be sent, it amounts to TREASON.
Members of the military and foreign service look at this act of cowardice perpetrated by the 0bama regime for the sole purpose of political gain, and wonder if they will be the next to be abandoned. So calling it a "political food fight" is disgraceful!
The entire regime should be perp walked to prison, then court, then the gallows.
People don’t come home in body bags after a food fight
Thinking the same.
Guess what I am.
(Mashes face)...
A zit!
That’s a whole other subject!
Shut up, Harry!
You started the food fight, you dirty b*stard.
There is an article today posted on Canada Free Press.com about what was behind the Benghazi operation. Ex CIA official in the know turns whistle blower re Benghazi and DOJ is now trying to shut him up. Someone posted the article on Freeper earlier today but Freeper pulled it. It’s still up CFP.com. Freeper will probably pull this comment too.

Reid: Jobs report would be better if Republicans act http://j.mp/1kw6xL5

Harry is going to find out that a lot of AMERICANS
care more about their government running roughshod
over the law than about minimum wage or the jobs, jobs,
jobs we’ve been looking for for over 5 YEARS!
And yet in October 2005 he said:
Reid: White House owes an explanation
http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/10/30/leak.probe/index.html?_s=PM:POLITICS
WASHINGTON (CNN) — The Senate minority leader said Sunday that President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney owe the country an explanation of “what’s going on” in the administration and called for White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove to be fired.
“I think not only should the president appear before the American public and explain what is going on and take a few questions from the press, but certainly the vice president should do that,” Sen. Harry Reid said on CNN’s “Late Edition.”
The Nevada Democrat referred to past comments from the president that anyone found to have been involved in the leak of CIA agent Valerie Plame’s name to the media would be fired.
Bush later amended his comments to say that anyone guilty of a criminal act would be fired.
“Everyone knows Karl Rove is involved,” Reid said. “If the president is a man of his word, Rove should be history.”
How much of a food fight do the families and friends of the four dead Americans think it is?
Yes!
Clarke County Nevada should be ashamed of themselves. I personally hope all the casinos in Vegas go belly up. Payback for putting this old fool back in the Senate.
"Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedys chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifmans 17-year career."
Why?
Because she was a liar, Zeifman said. She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.
Except when they're attacking the Koch Bothers who provide jobs for hard working Americans. Doing such a great job as well, lowest workforce participation rate in 30 years, 0.1% quarterly growth and food stamp recipients nearly double.
holding back my twitches due to not being able to respond to this total disregard for the lives of our heroes, I want to thank you for saying that this is no game. I might be able to communicate legibly in a couple of hours.
One thing I want to express to all of our volunteer military. We know of some of the sacrifices you make, but we know that there are sacrifices you have made that we could not even comprehend. We support all you do and do not, do not, let the words from this administration or Reid sink into your heart for they are footholds of falsehood. Believe the truth, that fighting evil is right and what you do is honorable. We respect you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and so does God who accepts your sacrifices as eternal expressions of the greatest love.
Het reid just stfu and go steal someones money to line your pockets that’s what you’re best at.
