If it’s going to lie, why doesn’t the government say unemployment is zero? Anyone who disagrees gets a free tax audit.
Maybe a lot of people stopped looking for work not only because they weren’t getting paid to pretend, but also because they now had other people paying for their health care, so with us also paying for their houses and their food and their manicures and cable TV and internet and phones, why should they work?
