“just know voting record of Conger on many issues”

And there you have it. Conger has served in the state house, and although his voting record was conservative, he cast a few compromise votes to which someone may take exception, so some FReepers will conclude that Wehby, who has *no* record, and about whom we know nothing except that she’s a surgeon and whatever she says this week are her political views, is a “pure” candidate and a “real conservative.” Of course, Wehby’s own words reveal her to be a liberal RINO, and her occasional claims of conservatism before conservative audiences are based solely on her say-so, not on anything she’s done, but no matter. Conger is not perfect, so true conservatives must support an admitted liberal who may be even more liberal than she lets on, right, goodnesswins?

Monica Wehby is a political cypher, never holding office or taking public political positions before a few months ago, and never making a donation of $200 or more to a federal political campaign (the donor lookup goes back to 1990, and Wehby’s only federal political donations of $200 or more were to the neurological surgeons’ PAC). I think I’ll take the guy with the conservative—albeit imperfect—record.

Goodness, where are the links to Conger’s “terrible (!)” voting record ? What is Wehby’s voting record ? Why is she scared to debate him ? Could it be she’s yet ANOTHER Establishment ringer to go down to defeat against the Democrat ?

Goodness, for someone who lives in Oregon, aren’t you getting tired of these same Democrats winning over and over again since the 1950s ? How ‘bout supporting an actual Conservative who can win instead of ANOTHER liberal RINO who won’t ? At 63, aren’t YOU a little old for this crap ?
