NSC Spokesman: Dude, Benghazi Was Like Two Years Ago
Breitbart TV ^ | May 1, 2014

Posted on 05/02/2014 5:58:25 AM PDT by don-o

Thursday on Fox News "Special Report," host Bret Baier grilled Tommy Vietor, the former NSC Spokesman at the time of the 2012 Benghazi terror attacks, about his role in changing the talking points that then U.N. ambassador Susan Rice used on the Sunday talk shows following the attacks. Baier used video clips of the tesimony of Former Deputy CIA Director Michael Morell and the US Africom Intelligence Director at the time Ret Air Force Brigadier General Robert Lovell to corner Vietor into admitting they got the "peaceful protest gone awry" "dead wrong". When Baier asked Vietor if he changed the word "attack" in the talking points Vietor said "Dude, this is like two years ago"

My 1st thought was that he came close to summing up in 1 quote how incompetent the administration is and how flippant there attitude is toward the responsibility they should be feeling about the death of a US ambassador and 3 others.

My thoughts as well. What a disgrace.

“Their talking points have not changed. You will be hearing this frequently from the regime and its handmaidens in the MSM. Everybody is staying on message: “What difference does it make now?””

They have a lot invested in this meme.

Remember, only “CRAZY PEOPLE!”, and bible-thumping, gun-toting old white racists care about this kind of stuff.

You aren’t an old white racist, are you Mr.Sheeple?

So, help me understand, you are saying that nobama was a better choice than Romney? By sitting out the election, you did in effect help elect nobama. How’s that working out for ya?

You do realize that except by illegal (and reversible) EO, a POTUS can not pass amnesty? It requires Congress.

We in Texas proved that BY ACTUALLY VOTING, we beat a rigged Primary, i.e. Cruz.

In 2012 there was definitely voter fraud, that did propel nobama to win again. That voter fraud could have easily been overcome had the so called “conservative” purists bothered to vote.

I am by no means saying our side had the best candidate possible, but as the old military adage goes “you have to fight the battle with the army you have, not the one you wish you had”.

How much do followers of Obama care about life.. much less the lives of those they send to serve in their regime?

Dude!

Hint, hint to the millions of “sit at home purists” who must have wanted to make a statement in 2012, Elections have consequences.

Stop with that shit! Mitt Romney lost because he was a Middle of the road oppossum that didn't have the balls to take the fight to the Halfrican. His campaign in the last 3 months was a DISASTER! Just like the Oppossum in the middle of the road he got run over.

How many ads did he run showing Obama and Crowley lieing during the debate when Benghazi was discussed? You want to blame someone, blame the RNC and the Idiots that always whine about the conservative base not supporting some left leaning RINO while the current batch sitting is office is F#@$%#$@ us in the back side!

When thousands of conservatives warn the GOP that nominating a certain candidate will make them not vote for the party’s candidate, and the party decides to nominate that person anyway, crying about the lack of support is a load of shinola.

There were many warnings about Romney, but the GOP said “we don’t care - we think you’ll fall in line anyway”.

Many conservatives voted in line with their principles, after having stated their intention to do so. Now, the fact that they followed there consciences is used to try and “shame” them to violate their principles again (preemptively). I’m more than tired of the party shilling, personally. The GOP, as a party, must learn that their base isn’t going to eviscerate their principles in the name of party solidarity.

One other little note...

After Willard got the nomination his gang of Left Leaning GOP Establishment RINOs then went on a stampede to change to nomination process so the the GOP Left Leaning RINO Turds
could control who gets it.

What better way to earn your trust in others, NOT!

Oh let’s just ignore the facts and pretend we can have a perfect libertarian world. Sorry if the truth hurts.

By the way FR is a “discussion” not a place for pretend parental reprimand!

Baier owned him in that exchange.

Brett Baier is my favorite on Fox News. First, he's not a blonde woman.

Second, 99 out of 100, he asks ONE question and waits for an answer, unlike the insufferable Bill Hemmer and Martha Macallem (sp?) who ask a question, answer it themselves and ask 3 more questions, all in one breath. They really annoy me.

The State’s Primaries gave us Romney, not the RNC. Now whether or not some State’s Primaries were rigged, I can not say, but even though Romney did not campaign well against nobama (slavery guilt like millions of other?) he was able to win the Primaries, partly because all the other contenders were either hobbling around with self inflicted foot gunshot wounds or victims of the GOP Circular Firing Squad of 3 second sound byte “debates”.

BUT all that aside, we all would have been much better of had Romney won in 2012 and a major reason he did not win was our purists who preferred to teach us all some lesson. You can screech and rant all you want trying to divert that spotlight, but that is a fact Jack!

I posted the facts sweetheart. If you can't deal with them I suggest you can call your RINO friends for a group hug.

By the way FR is a “discussion” not a place for pretend parental reprimand!

Then keep your sanctimonious thoughts about those that didn't vote for the RINO to yourself!

I am not the one screeching and ranting.

I am simply pointing out that party above principle is a losing proposition for the GOP. There is something about free-thinking individuals and choice that runs counter to the dem-style party unity.

The GOP was warned that Romney was a non-starter by many who did not vote for him. According to you, that means that anyone who stood true to their principles is at fault.

Good luck with that.

What and who “warned the GOP”? That ain’t how it works. Contrary to your little-bitty conspiracy theory, Romney was not appointed by the GOP, the RNC or anyone else, he was the last one standing who happened to be able to keep his head down as the Primary Season bullets were randomly flying from non-starters like Cain, Santorum and Michelle.

Look it up in the FR files, Romney was never “my guy” until it came down to a choice or either Romney or 4 more years of nobama.

I’d say if there was a conspiracy to steal the nomination, it was from the Lil’ Martian ronpaul, who luckily was thwarted.

If you supported Willard and cast aspersions on those that didn’t you sure as hell aren’t a Conservative.

Now go back to Roveville, find Pee Wee Priebus and play with your little chalkboard.

Beyond that, you don’t have a clue what the hell you are talking about. I am done with feeding the trolls. Bye.
