6 months ago, Oregon wasn’t even on anyone’s list. Now...I think we win it, because of the Obamacare mess in the state. I know Wehby’s not everyone’s pick here...but she’ll be far better than a Democrat.

Oregon is a tough one. I lived there for 7 years.
The Machine is strong in the Press, local gov, unions and local activists
Splitting the ticket is of no value.
Even then the GOP candidate only has LOTS of heavy lifting between now and NOV.

Thats how I read it too.
Oregon is NEVER going to allow a conservative Senator.
The Unions alone would crucify any Dem who let that happen.

An endorsement from Mitt isn’t disqualifying (an Obama endorsement is the kiss of death - I would never vote for someone who supports or is supported by either Obama or Satan), but it is cause for concern.

Is anyone surprised he would endorse the liberal Republican?

This heralds that she is for RomneyCARE,
Romneymarriage, Romney polygamy, and RomneyBACKSTABBING.
This is the kiss of death to her candidacy.

Yes, why would anyone care who the man who Lost the presidency endorses?

You are probably right. Oregon elected their current senator with less than 50% of the vote over former Senator Gordon Smith, a nice fellow with some RINO tendencies who was still better by light years than anyone Oregon has sent to the U.S. Senate since, at least, the 1960s, maybe longer.
Anybody remember Bob Packwood, the last GOP Senator from Oregon before Smith?
I suspect Monica Wehby would be similar quality to Gordon Smith. She has a compelling biography and could very well be more likely to win in November given the leftward slant of the state.

Exactly. To me that is as important as John McCain endorsing the Hildabeast.

We have a great candidate for Senator in Colorado to take on Udall.
Too many left wing voters in Boulder and North Denver to ignore them.
In many ways, CO is like OR was back 20 years ago.
The trees and mountains are very important to voters here just like they are to OR voters.
