The mainstream media is playing up the “tragedy” of Clayton Lockett’s “botched” execution....

This is all ridiculous. Shoot the AH full of any of the zillions of drugs that make you die in a minute or two and be done with it, fer cripesake. Or just pop a couple of caps to the head, where most of these guys come from that is in no way “unusual”.
The tragic part of it is that it didn’t happen many years ago. This girl lived to be 19. Lockett lived 15 years after he killed her.
Rest in peace now, dear girl. Rest in peace.
Perhaps the other world had a hand in it.
Clayton was a poster child for capital punishment. However, lethal injection has always had problems now further complicated by the lack of appropriate drugs. Britain’s long serving hangman, Albert Pierrepoint, prided himself on being able to carry out a hanging in 30 seconds without any undue suffering by the condemned. Maybe it’s time we returned to the gallows.
Why has perspective been so lost by our media? Or by so many Americans? Why so much empathy toward such a vile and evil man?
Bring back the noose. Instant at best, 5 mins at worst.
A single .22 will do the same thing basically.

I’d further suggest the gallows at 1pm Saturdays, in a public squares, and televised.
Preceded by canings.
Because the actors in the MSM are nuts.
