I was a Prosecutor for 25 years, and I prosecuted death penalty cases (won them all) and calls of torturing these “people” is disgusting.
We are a system of laws. I am astonished that those that have such respect (conservatives) for the rule of law and, rightly so, call out the Libs for their lawlessness and call for this? What are we to become, tribes run by warlords? We are a civilization, not a rabble. Wanna be a rabble? See how long America, or any State, lasts.
Furthermore, one should be troubled with an out of control State having the power to kill it’s own citizens. Add to that the fact that we know with 100% certainty that innocent people are executed in America (sure sounds like Islam to me) and, at a minimum, the use of capital punishment should give Conservatives pause.

Nitrogen gas will kill someone and it doesn’t even trigger gasping and hard breathing. Bring back the gas chamber.
HORROR: Oklahoma inmate dies after execution botched...

How many of your death penalty cases resulted death to the murderers?
“Furthermore, one should be troubled with an out of control State having the power to kill its own citizens.”
We can agree on that ...... got anyone in mind?
Liberals should have no problem with using whatever drugs they administer in Europe to euthanize people inconvenient to the state. After all, they are Europeans and so much more evolved. Perhaps the “euphoria” of starvation would be more to their satisfaction. It was good enough for Terri Schiavo.
How did they botch it? Did the guy live?
Smith & Wesson manufactures a reusable, reliable, efficient, and relative inexpensive injection device and the dose delivered cost less than fifty cents each.
Gravity and piano wire; works every time.
Personally I believe in “suicide” chambers. The condemned spends the rest of his life on death row, waiting for his sentence to be executed. During the waiting period, the condemned can place his head against a pane of glass, push a button and a bullet will be discharged into his brain. The chamber is constructed in a way where there can be no accident. Only the condemned can set the suicide in motion.
This way the condemned repents by taking his own life.
oops spell check is my new friend.
