98.5% of EVERYONE is strait and around 2/3 of the population is white. If ‘Hispanics’ are included as white, which most are, than the percentage of ‘white’ Americans is actually around 85%+.

Yep you're right. Sometimes a character in a movie just needs to be a regular guy. Doesn't being a superhero make him remarkable enough? Does he have to fit in some other liberal label/pigeonhole?
