Aren’t the gas and diesel fuel taxes supposed to provide the funding for maintaining the highways?
Have the Feds spent those funds elsewhere, instead, such as paying the Obamacare “navigators” to scam people into signing up for a failed program?
I hope BOTH houses of Congress treat this proposal just like they have every one of Obama’s budget proposals; thumbs down!

You have it backwards.
Fuel taxes don't provide enough money for funding and maintaining highways. Federal and state income taxes help make up part of the difference.
