IMO, the GOP is a write off. Many conservatives are still dedicated to one more frontal assault on the works however.
“If you want the C.O.,
I know where he is, I know where he is, I know where he is.
If you want the C.O., I know where he is
He is down in a deep dug-out,
I’ve seen him, I’ve seen him, down in a deep dug-out,
I’ve seen him, I’ve seen him, down in a deep dug-out.
If you want to find the old battalion,
I know where they are, I know where they are, I know where they are
If you want to find the old battalion, I know where they are,
They’re hanging on the old barbed wire,
I’ve seen ‘em, I’ve seen ‘em, hanging on the old barbed wire.
I’ve seen ‘em, I’ve seen ‘em, hanging on the old barbed wire.”
There are MAYBE 5 Republicans at the national level worth a vote. Anyone that votes the rest in may as well just vote a straight ticket. Literally. Because the rest are siding with the dems on EVERY major issue.
The facts are there. And spending months campaigning hard against conservative positions, then voting for them knowing they will lose does not make one worth a vote.
