While I agree with your position, given the current political environment an authoritative conservative message is a non starter.
It is in fact a “Leap of Faith”.
I would vote for Ted Cruz in a heartbeat, but I think Rand Paul has a better chance at winning.
Ted doesn’t play politics. Rand is going to run and is playing the game.
You and I both know that Cruz is a better representation of the conservative message, but as he preaches to the choir, Paul is looking to capture the discontent and the votes from the middle.
Times have changed.
Rand Paul is a moron with zero, zip, nadda chance of being elected nationally.
For every liberal vote he gains with queer marriage, abortion, amnesty, and dope, he would lose 2-3 conservative votes.
Guess what...those liberal dope heads aren’t going to vote for smaller government or cutting taxes.
He couldn’t carry a single state.
