Wow! I am sorry I forgot to off the sarcasm!
So who commits all the crimes?
statistical correlation does not identify either the cause or a finding of any error
what is needed is to understand the cause, not the result, and then and only then can the result be judged
but most in politics who read the report will assume that any error MUST BE with school administrators, not students whomever they are and in that environment the causes never get lifted up or dealt with
Hmmmm. Maybe I’ll pose this argument to my SIL:
Who is it that disciplines (or reports for discipline) these minority children?
What is their educational background?
What is their ideological background?
What is their associative background?
Is it that progressively ideological teachers (whether by training or by association with an activist Union) and administrators are racist?
Yep. I’ve always considered that phrase to mean 20:1 odds.
“Black students at schools in Wichita and surrounding districts are disciplined at higher rates than their white peers”
Black adult males are incarcerated at higher rates than their White peers. Is the reason for this becoming evident yet. :-)
Most comprehensive *biased* survey of school civil rights data in nearly 15 years.
If true data released.
Let me quote a few statistics and see if any liberals can connect the dots:
- 85% of all children who show behavior disorders come from fatherless homes 20 times the average. (Center for Disease Control)
- 71% of all high school dropouts come from fatherless homes 9 times the average. (National Principals Association Report)
- 85% of all youths in prison come from fatherless homes 20 times the average. (Fulton Co. Georgia, Texas Dept. of Correction)
- Children who live absent their biological fathers are, on average, at least two to three times more likely to be poor, to use drugs, to experience educational, health, emotional and behavioral problems, to be victims of child abuse, and to engage in criminal behavior than their peers who live with their married, biological (or adoptive) parents.
- Fatherless boys and girls are: twice as likely to drop out of high school; twice as likely to end up in jail; four times more likely to need help for emotional or behavioral problems. [US D.H.H.S. news release, March 26, 1999]
- 57.6% of black children, 31.2% of Hispanic children, and 20.7% of white children are living absent their biological fathers. (Census Bureau)
There’s NOTHING racist about those statistics. What is racist is the poverty pimps’ refusal to recognize and address the problem!!!
Do black students misbehave at higher rates than other races?
Is the punishment in proportion to their misbehavior?
No issue then...
Wait a minute, could it be.............
RACISM!!!!
Heck, that’s what my dad used to do me and my five siblings...spank us all when one of us acted up. I got quite a few spankings for things I didn’t do. He acted on the suspicion that if one kid was acting up, we all were. Nothing much you could do about it but take the punishment And no, my father was not a drunk. He rarely drank. Parents fifty years ago didn’t spare the rod.
Right on.
In other news, people with bad teeth visit the dentist more often than people with perfect teeth...
Well, D'UH!!
What can I say? I'm studying it as a second language.
