I also sent money, several years ago, in response to a horrible medical story. I sent 50 dollars cash and a nice card with personal note.

I never heard anything from the recipient.

However he did begin posting again to FR.

A simple online FR comment of thanks costs nothing.

Funny how people have time to ask for money, take it, but no time for a free of cost thank you.

NOTE: The person I sent money to was not 2nd Div Vet, nor was it Mesta.
