Perhaps his attitude is that Collins is the very best you're gonna get from Maine. Americans For Democratic Action,a Maoist group with close,long term ties to the anarchist wing of the Rat Party,gives Collins a score of 50% in regards to the 20 votes that they believe were most important in 2012. That means that they think that she voted “correctly” in half of those votes.

Move about 50 miles west of Maine's border with New Hampshire and you arrive in Vermont (New Hampshire isn't a very *wide* state). In Vermont,you'll find a filthy multi-millionaire Rat named Lahey. The ADA gave him a score of 100% for that same year. So your only two realistic choices in Maine are 50% or 95-100% which is what you'd get with another New England Rat.

It's an extremely nice part of America, the people I've talked with seem friendly enough, but when it comes to having the political smarts, folks from those States play the system for all its worth. Some (even most) apparently see themselves as New Englanders first and Americans second or third.

I don't get a vote up there and, besides, have to constantly keep finding logical reasons to explain away our electing Lindsey Graham down here. Yet, playing the percentages like you mentioned sounds sorta smart on one hand but awfully Inside Baseball-ish (credit: SP) on the other.

My reason for making the first post was because of erratic but not surprising behavior coming from Rand Paul, a semi-national figure...as is Lindsey Graham, who we MUST vote out in the S. C. Primary June 10th or possible run-off three weeks later.

OK,fair enough.You're correct to note that citing stats can sometimes be rather abstract and difficult to understand.So I'll put it in more concrete terms.New England has 12 Senators.On the day that their OsamaObamaCare vote occurred 9 of those 12 were filthy Rats and 3 were Republicans.Judd Gregg in New Hampshire and Collns and Snowe in Maine.All 9 of the Rats proudly,defiantly,voted "aye".Judd,Snowe *and* Collins voted "no".Assuming that Collins *also* voted for a Republican to serve as the Senate's Majority Leader then she's gotten at least several...if not more than several....votes right.Compare that to Lahey who,almost certainly,has never voted in the best interests of this nation during his *entire* 150 year Congressional "career".
