Awww cummon! Cops ALWAYS say they were afraid for their lives or "I felt threatened" before shooting a dog, or a child, or a random theater goer.

Those are the magical *get out of a jam* words usually. That’s what Eric Gelhaus said after unloading 10 rounds into that kid in California, I believe. And the cops that shot those ladies 70 times, who were delivering newspapers. And the cop that shot the unarmed motorist who had crashed his car in North Carolina. “I feared for my life.”

The badge polishers can’t believe it’s not working in this case.
