It is a good post, thanks tcrlaf.
If you don’t like the source, post after it, noting the source is Russian propaganda, but let’s see what they are saying. Knowing what Russia is telling its people lets us know what they may be preparing their population for.
If they post a totally false article saying we murdered 25,000 innocent Russian soldiers, but there is no western source for the story, it is still significant, because it may portend theri inclination towards war.
Of course even with a propaganda source, it is possible they are right.
People who love FR love it because it isn’t CBS news, only giving us what we “need” to know. Here, we see what everyone is saying, and make up our own minds.
Thank you..
We are informed enough to make our own decisions about what is and isn’t propaganda, for the most part.
But that isn’t the purpose of the flame troll ID’s that have suddenly popped up. They want to extinguish the airing of any news or viewpoint that doesn’t meet their idea of reality. Many now won’t post on Ukraine news threads simply because they don’t want to deal with the flaming.
Anything that doesn’t meet EuroMaidan PR’s viewpoint is “propaganda”. (WHO is “Euromaidan PR, anyway?)
As I have pointed out many times, US reporting, if they report an event, at all, is two to three days behind RT, that has been near real-time with much of it, even if it is from the Russian viewpoint.
Notice that despite several requests for News of the events from sources they approve of go unfulfilled, they still scream “Propaganda!” without providing an alternative.
The downside of the internet explosion is that any 12 yr-old with a computer now gets to act mean and tough, anonymously.
