I thought the idea here on FR was to discuss an article (including it's validity) instead of just outright ignoring it.

We have freedom of the press here, and therefore higher standards, to where the astute might still expose Dan Rather or check the facts. Thete is no press freedom in Russia, and the government openly manipulates them, and beats and murders its opposition. A better question is, why do you excuse Stalin’s media by pointing to MSNBC? And why do you prefer Stalin’s propaganda? The burden of proof for Moscow’s claims is on them and their apologists, not us.
