I have a simple question for you.. How do you get and keep a majority in either house of Congress, to get a shot at passing anything that resembles a positive change in the direction in this country?

You win elections in areas that are not as strong in the safe districts or states that we normally control..

That means we have to field candidates that can compete in those areas.. That also means they aren’t going to share every Litmus Test that satisfies our base..

Here is a fact of life, with the obvious divide in this Nation, such as it is, we can’t trust that our vision is shared by the majority in this country, and getting worse every election..

To have a Republican in Washington State is a real stretch and I’m sure any real Conservative would be laughed off the ballot..

Now if you believe the answer is punishing those that take the establishment position, to get a majority if for nothing more than to stop, or slow down the slide, you can run for office, but voting for the enemy isn’t an option for any serious solution.

The problem appears to be that they are all enemies of the people.

Your “lessor than 2 evil” nonsense doesn’t play anymore.
Pass amnesty and you will see the death of the GOP.
Sucked into a bottomless pit they will never come out of.

Many of us here tried to raise flags about the policies of Bush, Rove
and the GOP. We were ignored and trashed.

Bush finished with a 27% approval! one of the lowest in history.
Many of us here saw it coming, but those who think like you were
blind to it.

Here is another warning. Pass amnesty and watch the GOP implode
into a black hole. The likes of which have never been seen before.

Sorry, your argument is COMPLETELY fallacious.

Eric Cantor’s Congressional District in 2012 went for Romney 56.9% to Obama’s 41.7%.

John Boehner’s District in 2012 went for Romney 61.9% to Obama’s 36.4%.

Cathy McMorris-Rodgers District in 2012 went for Romney 53.5% to Obama’s 43.7%.

These AMNESTY hungry RINOs are what they are NOT because they are in an “unsafe district”-—they are the duplicitous creatures they are SOLELY because THEY SOLD OUT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE for the interests of moneyed forces eager for AMNESTY followed by further waves of unhindered illegal immigration. We need to REBEL against these traitors.

So you keep saying, but that argument is not selling anymore.

It is clear that the majority favors repeal of ACA "Obamacare" and are against legalization of illegal aliens.

Thus, there is no litmus test in this, there is only an issue of integrity in the faithful representation of a majority of voters.

Should any special interest place itself between voters and their elected representatives, using coercion or bribery, then there is a litmus test to the elected representative from that special interest.
