Oh, but I do care about NY. I care that for decades NY has been exporting tyranny and statism to the rest of the country. I do care that the majority of new yorkers not only want to be serfs to the government, but want the rest of the country to be in chains too. I care about NY because the stupidity and militant ignorance that defines liberal thought festers there and is sent out to destroy the rest of the country with NY's elected representatives.
