That was Polk not collard greens... As in “Polk Salad Anne”.

The market we shop at has Collard greens, Mustard greens and Turnip greens. We buy them often even though their expensive. We really like them.

I have 2 aunts still alive and visit them about twice a year. There is a national forest behind my cousins place and sometimes we go driving back there to look for deer, etc. My aunt will start saying....look at all that polk salad and then eventually....stop! Get out and get me some. lol We have polk salad for dinner that night. rofl
