A new, unedited version of comments by Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy has emerged, and it sheds some light on the context of his remarks, universally condemned on Thursday as horrifically racist.

context is everything! WIthout context the framing of the written or spoken word is in the hands of “he”: who does the presentation.
Thank you.
You can always count of the LSM to twist words and take them out of context in order to smear someone they don’t like. He ought to sue them for libel.
Regardless of whether he did or didn’t make such comments, what do they have to do with the land issue?
It’s like when corrupt figures in the government started leaking “Joe the Plumber’s” financial history and infractions to discredit him after he was mentioned in the 2008 debate. It was Mr. Obama who said “it’d be better if we spread the wealth around” and that was the issue at hand.
Damage is done. The Sheeple have their new Emmanuel Goldstein.
Bundy seems to think liberal, big-government policies are disgusting in all contexts, and it’s hard to argue with him on that conclusion.
The enemedia did the same thing to Zimmerman.
Context really doesn’t matter for comments like that in most people’s minds. since it was pretty bad. Sure, to us, but I am sorry, he should have been more careful with what he said. Most will not care.
Even the edited comment I heard sounded not like a man speaking out of hatred but out of pity.
Where is all the DU trolls telling us all is lost and resistance is futile?
George Zimmerman would agree.
Not a thing, not a thing! It is only for the purpose of demonizing him so that when the Government murders him and his family, the sheep will bleat, "He was a kook, he got what he deserved. The brave Government Agents were only doing their job." "No great loss."
If you check the Bundy threads, you will probably find that they are members of this forum now.
The KKK stood with the ATF and offered their services during the Waco siege.
That is, if we want to look into guilt by association.
Agreed, either pity or a scolding of "Is this what you call freedom from slavery??"
I agree.
The comments aren’t connected to the land issue at all.
Really, when have the facts ever gotten in the way of who they pick as their Goldstein?
Funny the deleted part before puts a 180 on the whole thing...its a profound quote.
I’m not giving up on Bundy. The only thing he did wrong was to use the word “negro,” which is considered wrong these days, although it’s the word we all grew up with, and back then it was the preferred word. Martin Luther King had no problems with it.
What he said was devastatingly true. LBJ and the Democrats put blacks on the Democrat Plantation, by destroying their families and cutting the rug under their opportunities to work. By giving them welfare for having children out of wedlock. And so forth. It’s all true, and it was done deliberately.
And those “range fees” owed to the BLM? That’s nothing but pork demanded for giving ranchers environmental advice when they don’t know a damned thing about the environment they’re supposedly supervising. “Get your damned cows off our land, so we can euthanize the turtles and put up subsidized solar power cells to pay off Harry Reid and his son!”
He’s supposed to pay them an annual fee for that kind of advice? He knows a hell of a lot more about that land then any of those useless, bullying bureaucrats.
