I was a kid in the 80s. I remember the big "acid rain" scare...it was going to eat the paint off our cars!
I think liberal crises are like fashion trends. Wait a decade or two and they are "back in" and served to a new generation. Expect the "population bomb" to be dusted off and becoming the next lefty crisis du jour.

I owned a home on Lake Hopatcong in New Jersey in the ‘80s and that was all the morons talked about. They said “All the lakes are dying!”. Lots of anti-business pukes back then too.

I know. That's exactly what I was thinking. That was their Gorebal Warming dry run. I love how the ozone holes, magically, became a non-issue just as soon as they banned CFCs. Almost like it was planned that way.
