There was a FReeper here a while back, a truck driver, that was out of work. I posted that he could to to ND today and a get a nice signing bonus, work for a year, live in his truck, and save enough to go where he wanted.
He said he would rather be on unemployment than move to a “nothing” state like North Dakota.
If I was in that situation, I would move. In a heartbeat. I can do just about anything for a year.
Sacramento isn’t exactly close to the beach, anyway. That’s like refusing to leave Orlando, Florida because of the beaches, which are close to two hours away.
