The amnesty in 1986 was suppose to secure our borders. For 26 years the government didn’t do their job. Local government would pick up illegal’s and immigration wouldn’t pick them up and the locals would let them go. Worse immigration would pick them up an let them go. Job service would send them out on work request an if you complained about their documents job service would threaten EEOT investigation so you just fill out the i9 The church I attend half the people are now Hispanics and the Catholic churches too it is the same. I don’t like illegal immigration but what American would respect a law that hindered him knowing that it is not going to be enforced.
