I couldn't disagree more. This is like applauding a thief who's been forced to return some of your stolen good.

The Torah teaches that one returns the goods plus 20% and the crime is forgiven. Christians are taught that when a person repents and completes restitution (in this case return of the goods and a written change in policy), it is to be celebrated. Are you a Christian?

Tar and feather them instead.

I guess not.

Some people have a problem humbly accepting a victory and moving on. They feel a need to rub the losers nose in it.
